If you are considering visiting Sunriver and live outside Oregon, you may want to consider flying instead of driving. No matter where you are on the west coast, you're no more than a couple hours away by plane (Denver: 2 hrs - Las Vegas: 1.75 hrs - Los Angeles: 2.5 hrs - Salt Lake City: 1.5 hrs - San Francisco: 2 hrs - Seattle: 1.25 hrs). Because of its distance from Sunriver, you won't want to forget to arrange for ground transportation to/from the airport.

Rental Car Agencies
While it is possible to arrange shuttle service from and to the airport, guests may find it desirable to rent a car. While Sunriver has all the essentials necessary to prevent you from having to rent a car, occasional poor walking/biking weather, regional attractions, and other activities outside Sunriver proper may make having a vehicle desirable. During winter months, we recommend renting a four-wheel drive vehicle (or one with front-wheel drive) and suggest asking the rental agency about the availability of cable chains.
